Simply carrying on.
There is an age at which you stop waiting for things to go wrong before you take care of them. You look at what you eat, you walk a little more, you read labels before buying.
This is not worry, it is foresight. And it is probably what best distinguishes people who age well from those who wait.
INFLA HARMONY™: Joint & Mobility Support 50+ is written for these readers. The formula is exactly our original blend: the same actives, the same amounts, the same packaging. What changes here is the time we take to explain what it contains.
The stairs
Two flights, several times a day, without a second thought.
The first movement of the morning
The one made before you're even fully awake.
The garden in spring
A whole morning, with the afternoon still ahead.
The Sunday walk
The one you fully intend to keep doing for a long time yet.
Five actives, all dosed at a level that is justified
Curcumin has a known, documented weakness: it is very poorly absorbed. ANSES, France’s food safety agency, describes “very low oral absorption, rapid metabolism and elimination,” and notes that most of what is swallowed ends up in the stools rather than the blood.
This is why we chose Longvida®, a curcumin encapsulated in a complex of phospholipids and fatty acids. Encapsulation in a lipid matrix is among the approaches ANSES lists to increase curcumin’s bioavailability. The rest of the formula follows the same logic of defined forms: boswellia serrata standardised to 65% boswellic acids, quercetin standardised to 85%, ginger extract standardised for gingerols, alpha-lipoic acid purified to 100% active lipoic acid.
Four capsules a day. That is more than many formulas, and it is a deliberate choice: the amounts we chose do not fit into one.
Every amount and every standardisation appear in the Ingredients tab on this page. You do not have to take our word for it.

How to take INFLA HARMONY™: Joint & Mobility Support 50+
Take 4 capsules a day, with a glass of water, preferably in the morning.
What a standardised extract changes
Many supplements state an ingredient without stating its concentration. A standardised extract does the opposite: the amount of active molecules is measured and stated, and it stays the same from one batch to the next.
This is the choice made for all five actives in this formula. The amounts and the standardisation are published on this page.

Why I created this formula
When I started looking into this seriously, I mostly read labels. Everywhere, the same pattern: a trending active pushed to the front on its own, at a dose that fits into a single capsule. Rarely the full picture. Rarely any account of how these molecules are actually absorbed.
I am not saying these products are bad. I am saying I did not find the one I was looking for.
So we made it. Five plant-based actives, each with its form and its standardisation, published on this page. Four capsules a day, because what we chose does not fit into one.
And nothing more. We promise you nothing, because no health claim is authorised on these plants in Europe, for anyone. I would rather tell you exactly what is inside.
“I did not create this formula to round out a range. I created it because I could not find what I was looking for.”
Beyond {routine}
OsteoarthritisWhat the law forbids us to promise, and what we can show you
Osteoarthritis is the most common joint condition. Assurance Maladie, France’s national health insurance body, notes that it should not be confused with ageing: “The normal ageing of cartilage over a lifetime does not, on its own, cause osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is a condition in its own right.”
Plant extracts, particularly curcumin and boswellia, have been the subject of extensive research in this context. What that research documents most solidly is not an effect, it is the behaviour of these molecules in the body: their solubility, absorption, metabolism. This is the ground on which differences between products can be measured.
On claims, however, European regulation has not settled the matter. The assessment of applications concerning botanical substances has been suspended since 2010 and is still not complete, as the Court of Justice of the European Union confirmed in its ruling of 30 April 2025. No health claim is authorised to date for curcumin or boswellia, not for us or for any other brand. We therefore prefer to tell you what the formula contains, and at what dose.
Longvida® Curcumin
Extracted using the patented “Solid Lipid Curcumin Particle” technology. Turmeric contributes to joint health.
Boswellia serrata
Concentrated extract, standardised to 65% boswellic acids, a content that stays constant from one batch to the next. Boswellia contributes to the health of joints and bones.
Quercetin
Extract standardised to 85% quercetin.
Ginger extract
Rhizome extract standardised for gingerols, providing 15 mg of gingerols per daily dose.
Alpha-lipoic acid
Obtained by controlled synthesis and purified to reach 100% active lipoic acid.
Beyond {testimonials}
FAQ
Questions. Clear answers.
The answers below draw on public sources: Assurance Maladie, France’s National Authority for Health, ANSES, EFSA and the Court of Justice of the European Union. Where the research is uncertain, that is stated.
What exactly is osteoarthritis?
Osteoarthritis combines wear and destruction of joint cartilage, but it is not limited to cartilage: according to Assurance Maladie, “all the tissues of the joint undergo changes.”
A point often misunderstood: it is not simply ageing. “The normal ageing of cartilage over a lifetime does not, on its own, cause osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is a condition in its own right.”
Source (French agency, quotes translated from French): Assurance Maladie, ameli.fr, accessed 21 August 2026.
Is osteoarthritis inevitable as you age?
Age is a risk factor, but it does not explain everything, and cartilage ageing alone is not enough to cause the condition.
Assurance Maladie cites other factors: excess weight and obesity, which “put strain on the joints”; a history of trauma, such as “a meniscus injury” or “a severe sprain”; occupational strain, in particular “working in a crouched or kneeling position, or frequently carrying heavy loads”; “poorly controlled, intensive practice of certain sports”; and genetic factors “firmly established for osteoarthritis of the hand and knee.”
Several of these factors can be changed.
Source (French agency, quotes translated from French): Assurance Maladie, ameli.fr, accessed 21 August 2026.
What can be done day to day?
Outside of painful flare-ups, Assurance Maladie is clear: “it is important to stay active.” It recommends walking daily and “favouring swimming over running, which encourages micro-trauma.”
Physical activity ranks first among the non-drug measures recommended in the management of osteoarthritis.
This recommendation applies only during calm periods. The next question matters.
Source (French agency, quotes translated from French): Assurance Maladie, ameli.fr, accessed 21 August 2026.
And during a painful flare-up?
The advice reverses. During a congestive flare-up, Assurance Maladie states that “you should temporarily stop all physical activity” and “put the joint in relative rest.” It specifies: “avoid walking when it hurts and avoid standing for too long.”
Activity resumes once the painful episode ends. This is an essential nuance: the advice to “keep moving” is wrong if applied during a flare-up.
Source (French agency, quotes translated from French): Assurance Maladie, ameli.fr, accessed 21 August 2026.
Does diet play a role?
Only one nutritional lever is established by institutional sources: weight loss in cases of excess weight. Assurance Maladie recommends “taking the strain off your joints to slow their deterioration by losing weight if you are overweight.”
No food, spice or specific diet is the subject of any institutional recommendation in this context.
Source (French agency, quote translated from French): Assurance Maladie, ameli.fr, accessed 21 August 2026.
Can a food supplement replace treatment?
No, and this is not a note of caution. ANSES, France’s food safety agency, states it as a definition: “A food supplement is not a medicine, and can therefore not, by definition, claim any therapeutic effect.”
European Directive 2002/46/EC also prohibits attributing to these products “properties of preventing, treating or curing” a disease.
A supplement therefore replaces neither a diagnosis, nor a treatment, nor the advice of a doctor or pharmacist.
Sources (French agency, quotes translated from French, plus EU directive): ANSES; Directive 2002/46/EC, Article 6. Accessed 21 August 2026.
Which supplements are the most studied for osteoarthritis?
Glucosamine and chondroitin account for by far the most clinical research. Curcumin, collagen, boswellia and omega-3s form a second, considerably less documented group.
The volume of research says nothing about the outcome. On glucosamine and chondroitin, France’s National Authority for Health (HAS) concluded in 2013 that “their effects on the pain and functional discomfort linked to osteoarthritis are minor” and that “the medical benefit provided by these medicines is insufficient.” They are no longer reimbursed by Assurance Maladie.
For curcumin, the deciding question is not the ingredient but its form: standard turmeric is very poorly absorbed, which contributes to highly variable results from one study to another.
Sources (French institutions, quotes translated from French): HAS, Transparency Committee, 11 July 2013; Assurance Maladie. Accessed 21 August 2026.
Why does this formula contain neither glucosamine nor chondroitin?
For two factual reasons.
First, EFSA concluded that “a cause and effect relationship has not been established” between glucosamine consumption and joint maintenance, and no claim has been authorised for these substances.
Second, in 2019 ANSES published a safety opinion advising against joint-targeted supplements containing glucosamine or chondroitin sulfate for several populations: people with diabetes or pre-diabetes, asthma, those treated with vitamin K antagonists, those allergic to crustaceans or insects, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women and children.
Our formula contains neither: these specific contraindications do not apply to it. Its own precautions for use appear in the dedicated tab on this page.

What does the research on curcumin actually say?
Meta-analyses exist, and they are weak. A 2026 review covering seven meta-analyses rates all of them as “critically low” methodological quality under the AMSTAR-2 tool: of 48 outcomes assessed, 37 rely on critically low-quality evidence, and publication bias is detected in 77% of cases.
The limitations named by the authors are always the same: small sample sizes, weak randomisation and blinding, highly heterogeneous forms of curcumin from one study to another, and follow-up periods mostly under six months.
In other words: there is literature, but it does not support a firm conclusion. We would rather state that.
Source: Frontiers in Pharmacology, 2026, umbrella review of seven meta-analyses. Accessed 21 August 2026.
Why is curcumin so poorly absorbed?
Four mechanisms combine, and they are well documented: curcumin is practically insoluble in water, it crosses the intestinal wall poorly, it is unstable at physiological pH, and the fraction that is absorbed is immediately processed by the liver and intestine.
ANSES sums it up: “very low oral absorption, rapid metabolism and elimination,” and notes that “most curcumin is found in stools after oral ingestion.” The European Medicines Agency’s assessment report speaks of “poor systemic bioavailability, because of low solubility and poor absorption.”
In practical terms, a 2001 clinical study using doses of 36 to 180 mg of curcumin detected neither curcumin nor its metabolites in the blood or urine of participants.

What is a standardised extract, and why does it matter?
A standardised, or titrated, extract is an extract whose content of a given compound is measured and adjusted. The European Medicines Agency defines it as an extract “adjusted within an acceptable tolerance to a given content of constituents.”
The gap with plant powder is considerable: turmeric rhizome contains around 2 to 8% curcuminoids according to ANSES, whereas a purified extract contains more than 95%.
One honest clarification to finish: a standardisation states a content, it says nothing about absorption, and nothing about efficacy. These are three separate questions.
Sources (EU medicines agency and French agency): EMA/HMPC/CHMP/CVMP/287539/2005; ANSES, opinion 2019-SA-0111. Accessed 21 August 2026.
Does turmeric carry any risks?
Yes, and it would be dishonest not to state this on the page of a product that contains it.
ANSES has recorded “more than 40 cases of hepatitis occurring between 2002 and 2021 during the consumption of food supplements containing turmeric or curcumin,” nine of which with likely or very likely causality. It advises against the consumption of turmeric by people suffering from disorders of the biliary tract, and states it should be avoided by people treated with anticancer medicines or medicines with a narrow therapeutic margin, such as anticoagulants.
ANSES considers that consumption raises no particular concern as long as it does not exceed 153 mg of curcumin per day for a 60 kg adult. It adds an important caveat: this benchmark “does not apply to formulations whose bioavailability” has been increased. Our formula provides 92 mg of curcuminoids per daily dose, and it uses an encapsulated form: ANSES’s caveat therefore applies to it, which is one more reason to follow the stated dose and seek medical advice if you are on ongoing treatment.
The full precautions for use appear in the dedicated tab on this page.
Source (French agency, quotes translated from French): ANSES, opinion 2019-SA-0111 of 12 May 2022. Accessed 21 August 2026.
Why can no brand state anything about osteoarthritis?
Because European Regulation 1924/2006 governs health claims, and those relating to botanical substances have never been settled.
EFSA assessed 4,637 claims between 2008 and 2010, after which the European Commission suspended the procedure: 1,548 claims relating to botanical substances “have been placed on hold by the Commission.” They still are.
The Court of Justice of the European Union confirmed this in its ruling of 30 April 2025 (case C-386/23): “the assessment of health claims relating to botanical substances has been suspended and the list concerning such claims has not yet been drawn up.”
A brand that makes a claim regardless is no better informed than anyone else. It is simply less cautious.
Sources: EFSA, statement of 28 July 2011; CJEU, ruling of 30 April 2025, case C-386/23. Accessed 21 August 2026.
One nuance exists, however, and we apply it. Among the claims still pending are statements relating to joint health, usable under the transitional regime provided for in Article 28 of the Regulation. On this basis, and this basis only, this page states that turmeric and boswellia contribute to joint health. No statement referring to a disease is possible, and you will find none here.
Over what timeframe have these actives been studied?
This concerns the length of research protocols, not a timeframe for an effect, which no one is in a position to promise you.
In the literature, trials on boswellia last from 4 to 24 weeks, and those on curcuminoids from 2 weeks to 6 months. The European Medicines Agency’s guidelines for the clinical assessment of osteoarthritis products state, for slow-acting products, that “an evaluation after at least 6 to 12 months may be considered appropriate.”

How do you read a food supplement label?
Three checks are enough to rule out most vague products.
Check that the amount of each plant or plant preparation is given as a figure, relative to the recommended daily portion: this is a regulatory requirement, not a favour. Then check the standardisation, meaning the stated content of the characteristic compound, without which an amount of extract does not mean much. Finally, check that the daily portion is clearly defined, since every amount relates back to it.
A fraud-control survey also found a high rate of non-compliance in this market, which is a good reason to look at the label rather than the promise.
Sources (EU directive and French decree/authority): Directive 2002/46/EC, Articles 6 and 8; Decree No. 2006-352, Article 12; DGCCRF (French consumer protection authority). Accessed 21 August 2026.
How is this formula taken?
Take 4 capsules a day, with a glass of water, preferably in the morning.
One bottle contains 120 capsules, for 30 days.
Who is this formula not recommended for?
It is not recommended in cases of biliary obstruction or biliary function disorders, for pregnant or breastfeeding women, for people with diabetes, or when taking anticoagulants, anticancer medicines or immunosuppressants.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. This product is not a substitute for a healthy lifestyle or a varied, balanced diet. Keep out of reach of young children.
If you are on ongoing treatment, seek the advice of a doctor or pharmacist.
Can the subscription be cancelled?
Yes. The monthly subscription is €29.90 instead of €39.90, and cancellation is possible at any time.
Which page should I choose based on my situation?
Every page in this range describes the same product: the same actives, the same amounts, the same 120-capsule bottle, the same dose of four capsules a day. No version is more concentrated than another, none is reserved for a particular profile. What changes from page to page is the angle from which the composition is explained and the list of questions each page takes the time to answer.
This page is written for readers over fifty who prefer to find out early rather than late. The other pages start from a different context, with the same public sources and the same composition: if you still train regularly, if your days are spent sitting, if the discomfort runs down your leg, if this has been going on for months, or the joint supplement page if you would rather start with what this type of product contains.
Whichever page you choose, the full composition is published in the Ingredients tab on this page. If you are on ongoing treatment, seek the advice of a doctor or pharmacist.
What can be said about boswellia?
On the topic of joints, European regulation authorises one statement under the pending claims: boswellia contributes to the health of joints and bones. This formula provides 307 mg per daily dose, as a concentrated extract standardised to 65% boswellic acids, providing 200 mg of boswellic acids.
Beyond this sentence, nothing more can be stated, by us or by anyone else.
And turmeric, what can be said about it?
The same framework applies: turmeric contributes to joint health. This formula provides 400 mg of Longvida® curcumin, including 92 mg of curcuminoids, extracted using the patented “Solid Lipid Curcumin Particle” technology.
As ordinary curcumin is very poorly absorbed, it was the form that guided this choice, not the raw quantity. Here again, nothing else can be stated.
Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of young children.
